Peaceful Progeny: Paths to Perfect Parenting

War is the most inhumane, shameful, and fundamentally psychotic disease known to humankind.  It drives the global war machine country-by-country, region-by-region, and state-by-state until all humans are literally working to help finance these corporations to blatantly play war games with our children.  As parents, educators, and members of society, it is our responsibility to teach our children compassion and selflessness.  The Bible teaches in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” By instilling values of empathy, critical thinking, and shared responsibility in our children, we can work towards creating a more peaceful and equitable society.  Jesus teaches us in Matthew 22:39, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” If we can teach our children to truly love their neighbors as themselves, we can end all war…

“A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

Ecclesiastes 3:8

We are merely training our children to be cogs in the wheel that is the global war machine of Corporations.  All of which are concerned with one thing and one thing only and that is to make more money.  Instead, we need to teach our children about how to treat each other as actual equals and not just a number, grade or rank. We are called to work for justice and peace, as in Isaiah 1:17, “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.”  By teaching our children the importance of love and compassion, we can help prepare them for the future and ensure they are able to navigate any challenges that may come their way.

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

Revelation 17:14

God, thank you for your grace. Please help us to be wise in ways of raising children to shine as a light for your kingdom on earth. In the name of Yeshua the Christ, Amen.
